I just picked up a J&L ti post for my S6 for $60 shipped off eBay. It was an auction, there's also a buy it now for like $79. Got to put a new battery in the scale before I can weigh it,but noticeably lighter than the stock post, just holding them in my hands feels like half the weight.

And I just picked up a IKEA Dimpa bag for 6€ For the airport transfer. No padding, but 2.2kg less than the Brompton bag.

The bike should be ready soon.

Yes. It should be here mid November, another week or so.

I'm doing all this in preparation, which is why I ask so many stupid questions about which parts fit and which dont. I dont have the bike here to compare.

Have you started yet?

This is Titanium front and rear rack solution (H&H), lightweight (253g + 380g ezwheels not included) and looks awesome....

their touring bag on the aluminum-nylon bag frame. + a Carradice Super C Saddle bag on the seat post should be enough space ..

with the new spider crank any 130 BCD chain ring will do they ship a 44t* you can put a 39t on

I like Surly's Stainless steel chainrings for long wear.

*or 50 or 54t ... Todd, PDX Brompton Dealer, tours, put a 36-44 double crank on his 6 speed, 'Greasy finger' shifter.

: my improvement, This week : new SON xs Brompton Dyno hub , replacing larger, heavier Shimano dynamo hub.
