Ori/Mezzo Surpaz

Has anyone tried the Ori (Mezzo) Surpaz? For those who don't know, it's a carbon folding bike with 20" wheels and a fold that approaches the brompton. Would love to hear from someone who has tried one.

Bikes: Self-designed carbon fiber highracer, BikesDirect Kilo WT5, Pacific Cycles Carryme, Dahon Boardwalk with custom Sturmey Archer wheelset

Finally a carbon folder. I don't know why people always say that folders aren't suitable for carbon because they take more punishment than nonfolders. I don't think they do.

Carbon is perfect for monotube designs.

Hasa have had a carbon folder for some years now. They only want $2100 (aus) for it, there's an Aussie ebay vendor selling them. They also have a titanium version which I want but the asking price for that one is $3800.

Frame only would be great !

does the frame weigh 3lbs less than the standard alloy version as there does not seem much weight weenie stuff on it?

It looks like there are a bunch of new models this year, including an aluminum version. A brompton-like fold with a 20" wheel at 22 pounds (less for carbon). Sounds perfect to me.

Does anyone have any information on pricing?
