Omg that fork makes me cringe, its a pretty little bike but it looks like it would snap off if you hit the slightest crack in the road. I know their bikes are renowned as the highest quality and I'm sure its fine but I would be afraid to ride that.

a week or so ago i was inadvertently derailing a thread about a downtube 9fs with moustache wax when i came across this pic of dali on a folding bike.

i'd seen this pic many times but, finally i became curious about the make of the bike.

as it happens, the bike in the pic with dali is the italian made Graziella folding bike.

i have no idea, but perhaps it was the original of the "U" shaped folding bikes?

anyway, while searching for info i found that the bike has been relaunched and fully modernized. i don't know if i like it, but it is certainly interesting.

hydro-formed tubes and integrated headlamp.

complete with a full line of very italian accessories.

and a fairly elegant folded package (note that because of the angle of this pic, the kickstand is hidden from view. the bike is not actually floating).

Don't forget the vintage folders like Raleigh twentys etc, there is a bit of a cult following on old English folders and non folding 20 inch wheelers!

number 4 is my favorite. did you notice the after-market 33.9mm carbon seatpost? i like that. love the satori stem extender with the mini bullhorns. the brakes, cables, levers, the velocity rims. all of it just feels very well considered and not over-the-top.

You would need to be in the slipstream of a truck to peddle a chainring of that size. Other than that, very tasty.

But the pink foam looks out of place. And the rear Cateye's mounting strap should've been trimmed. Picky, but details count.
