Bromton S bar to M bar or equivalent height.

Bromton S bar to M bar or equivalent height.
Currently have an S bar Brompton and I find it too aggressive a position for me. I would like the M bar instead. From what I have read on this forum. I have a few choices.
1. Purchase new stem, handlebars, lengthen the cables and housing. I can do the work myself. Is there anything else I need to know or purchase and does anybody know the approximate cost of these parts.
2. Purchase the Aber Hallo stem and raise my bars up 2", which is 1" less than the M bar would be. S bar is 37 inches, M bars 40" from the ground. Could I put a small riser bar on the Aber Hallo and have it not affect the fold? Has anyone done this?
3. Sell the Brompton I have now and purchase the one I need. (My Brompton has maybe 100 kilometers on it at best, 2012 model)
4. Try and find a trade with someone, but it would have to be orange and I am never keen on used parts (I prefer new items).
Thoughts?

SJS Cycles in UK will have prices on all the parts , you can compare the retail importing those to what your Toronto Brompton dealer will charge.
there are some frame shops that could Cut off the clamp center bar and make the bar height adjustable
on the web you can find the data on relative heights of the 4 bar offerings ..
It looks to me as the H post is about like the S , but the hinge if further Up so the M bar on it when folded down doesn't hit the ground.
You can measure the height remaining when you fold the S bar down and know 1st hand how much clearance you have ..
did you ask the dealer about a trade in? as said often resales is always good as nobody sells theirs for cheap so You dont have to Either ..
maybe you 2 Canadians, can work out a deal ? https://www.bikeforums.net/folding-bi...bar-s-bar.html
