Unable to "like" posts.

From time to time I become unable to like people's posts. The option to do so completely disappears.
is this some kind of bug or Is there a limit to the amount of likes per week I can give out? or have I unknowingly committed some sort of offense that has limited my forum interaction?

Refresh the page or leave the thread and come back in.

I've had that happen when I just posted a reply and some other member has posted to the thread in the time it took me to write my reply. Usually it's just that post I don't have a like button for. Not every time, and it is rare .

What circumstances surround your instance of this?

it seems to happen randomly when it happens, and it is all posts in all threads when it occurs. The last time it happened it took 2 days before I could like again.
I tried switching to full site view and it will allow me to unlike but still prevents likes....it is letting me now and I did nothing to attempt to resolve it. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't in violation of some policy that I was unaware of, i dont like to break the rules. Thank you.

Switching to full site view? Are you using a phone?

I've only noticed the issue when using a browser on a pc or mac. The few times I come to BF on my phone's browser I've not noticed. But it's rare I use my phone for BF.

There is no policy to remove the like button from you that I am aware of. But I'm just another member and not privy to the knowledge about it the admins might have. The only restriction is for new members that won't see it until they have more than 10 posts.

I always thought that there is a limit to how many posts you can like in a certain time frame, be it hour, day, or whatever.

The like button should always be there. Like most things, clearing cache and cookies should be the ticket to fixing it. Since it seemingly is only happening in one case, it's hard to note if it is a bug or not. Please try clearing the cache/cookies and see where that brings you.
