Search is broke. When I do a "find all posts by this user" on my profile, I'm stuck at yesterday at 12:06 pm.
This happened a while ago when I first joined in September, but was fixed. Is this happening to everyone, or am I special?

You are always special if you believe.
Search likes to believe it is always broke and is broken when fixed. It does not drive a neat Camaro though like Edward.

That's been an ongoing intermittent issue. Essentially, occasionally, the system quits indexing. They are working on a permanent fix, but haven't gotten one together yet that works reliably.

In a pinch use Google. If you're searching for "touring bikes" type into Google:
site:bikeforums.net touring bikes
Just swap out 'touring bikes' for whatever you're searching for.

These new Telus ads are horrible. The more heavily-animated ones make scrolling extremely slow.
edit: In fact, the one with the marching nutcrackers slow down Firefox pretty horribly altogether.

It seems the "whatcha doing" thread in Foo is hung up. I've tried clicking on the "last page" several times, and the database seems to get lost.

Worked for me....FF3 and Safari and IE. Perhaps a temp glitch, or perhaps it's just getting too big? It does have over 77,000 posts in it.

Hit the escape key and shut down the animation helps a lot.

We are experiencing some intermittent network issues on the site that accounts for the slowness you're experiencing. The Internet Brands tech team is aware of the problem and is working on it.

Some of the huge threads such as the Training Status thread haven't been working right for a while. Clicking on last page takes you to the page with the last post, but it indicates that there are several pages at the end that you can't get to. Also, the "first unread" button never takes you to the first new post, but it does take you to the correct page at least. The What Road Bike Do You have thread also behaves this way.

I've seen this twice now. Longer treads , over ~50? will show 2 more pages than they actually have.

It's happening again, and getting worse. I'm getting the problem on supposedly 6-page threads that only let me go to page 5.

I can't post a reply in any fashion other than Quick Reply. I just get the template with no forms or even ads. Just Vanilla IE7 and refresh doesn't help. I just viewed Yahoo!, CNN and a couple of other sites and had no troubles.
I haven't attempted to go advanced or edit a post.

Works in Firefox on OSX. I don't have a IE / Windows box to test on, anyone else?
