I believe him. I challanged Brian's authority to change my posts (he was actually re-writing my posts to say something different and deleteing portions of what I write) and now I too cannot view any pages without waiting 2 minutes per page. I don't get errors, but if I had another browser I might. I think somebody is misusing their mod privileges and his name is Brian. I'm not a fan of deathhare, but he was debating the same topics as I was and now we're having the same problems for the first time ever.

Woah champ, loosen up. I commented on your comment, not all the behind the scenes actions you took. Those were not posted. If you did all that, that is indeed helpful. Your comment for him to help himself, is antagonistic and was met with an antagonistic reply. Obviously it's not recipricol, but I like you, your posts, and your vids on Youtube. I didn't realize you were ready to blow. Had I, obviously I'd have let you be.

If deathhare would actually read his own threads, he'd know that this was happening to some other folks.

To reiterate what the other mods are saying, we are not sure why deathhare cannot operate his own computer. Maybe he can order the BF cd rom from video professor?

We have global ignore or ban, (and various infractions) and thats it.
we either ignore you, or ban you. why would we need anything else?

Frankly... that sounds completely made up.

In other news... I vote that Deathhare's screen name becomes the new forum screen name. Whenever anyone wants to stir the pot... we can just login as deathhare. Change guest to death hare.

Nice try. Another useless post from you guys that borders on trolling.
If i log into to doofo it works perfectly. If i log into deathhare it does exactly as described.
Maybe you guys should learn how to hide your messes better. Or maybe just not let mods like the one who started everything go wild and people wont get pissed at their dirty actions.

I have never had problems using these forums until the last 24 hours. Now I can't do anything without waiting several minutes. Sometimes I'm re-directed to the main forum page, sometimes I get the server busy page, sometimes I finally get to whatever page I'm trying to view. This seriously just began when I asked questions about moderators and what is fair. My posts were altered to say things I never said and then it was Brian right there to respond to those new re-written fake posts. I've gone back now and tried to change back what he changed. But now I've got problems even using these forums for the first time ever. Now that I've read this thread and see I'm not alone, I feel it is not a coincidence.

BTW do any of you moderators think it is right to change somebody's posting so that it says something different? I'm not talking about deleting something foul or against guidelines, I'm talking about editing a post so that it looks ridiculous. Do moderators do that? Brian did.

its true that something is up with dh's account

if i log into it i cant navigate or post due to errors and slowness

if i log into doofo everything is fine

same computer here

note that at least two people in different parts of the world are trying this and getting the same issue

i for one do not believe that this is a conspiracy of the mods and is likely an unfortunate coincidence

but it is indeed an issue specific to his account

edit: please note i have no personal quarrel with mods or admins here and am letting dh post to try to figure this issue out

here's a suggestion... perhaps ya'll shouldn't be hogging up deathhare's account. could be he's having problems NOW because you're all trying to log on to the same account from different IPs at the same time.

just sayin'

There is no logout/sabotage account switch.

Are you really sure that's what's going on? Brian has always come across as a decent enough guy to me. I even remember him posting and continuing dommer's beauty of a thread to donnamb, which pretty much proves to me that he's pretty liberal when it comes to people freaking out about mods.

I realize that you and I have traded barbs before on an occasion or two, but I'm just throwing personal experience out there.

Here's a question. Are you booted from your account when someone else tries to log onto it? That's probably not what's happening here, but I suppose anything is possible.

Truth of the matter is the 2 options we as admins and mods have to sanction
someone is to either ban them, or place them on global ignore. Oh yeah I forgot
ones account can be removed and all their posts pruned out, then they just show as
'guest'.

I don't doubt there is something wrong with DH's account, I just don't think it's
one of the mods or admins doing it. Again, worst case would be have one of the
super techs from IB take a look at the account.

OK, i created a new acct. My username is slightly different. Now I have NO PROBLEMS. I can't explain that. I seriously believe deathhare has been targeted and so was I when we both questioned a certain mod. Just keep an open mind and if others have this problem in the future, remember it happened once before.

Meh... I didn't mean offense. Its a Seinfeld bit. I realized afterwards however that it has significantly less appeal in text form. Damn Michael Richards for being all sight gags.

I don't know whats happening with deathhare for sure, but what i said happened to me with my posts being altered is true. I'm sure brian is a nice guy. I don't agree with those tactics, though. I wasnt violating the guidelines. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be banned for even bring this topic up. Nothing would surprise me after what I've experienced.

I started having midday problems today after a bit of a heated OT debate in the Tommasini thread that actually paralleled Blickblocks tongue lashing. I'm not getting at anything, just stating the facts.

Regarding 1 username, multiple sites: I am at work now and my PC at home is logged in. Don't think that's the issue

You'll be banned for registering a sock puppet if you don't pm Brian or Donnamb about beginning another account.
