The minimum width problem hasn't been fixed. Text is much easier to read at narrower column widths. I would use about 900 pixels if it worked.
This screen shot is 1020 pixels wide (in the original: this is scaled down). The text should be wrapping at the edge, instead of going off screen. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_wc7ef8CMbxA/TP...BF%20width.jpg The narrowest width that works is about 1150 pixels: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_wc7ef8CMbxA/TP.../BF%201160.jpg |
On the Forums page, mousing over the newest post on a forum gave a brief first paragraph, enough to decide whether I wanted to enter that forum and read the entire thread.
Now we've returned to the "you want it, go read it" message. It was the only improvement that I could see. Gone now. A very minimal point to ***** about, I'll admit. But somebody had to decide that particular function should be worse, not better. |

I fixed the text wrap issue by clicking "Forum Actions" at the top of the page, selecting "General Settings" and then towards the bottom, changing the Message Editor Interface from "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing" to "Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls". Please fix. |
Zoom out 2 clicks under View>zoom out>zoom outand scroll gets very minimal. The only drawback is he text is TINY, then. :( It does help some though until we get this fixed.
