May be BF should have the ICONs contest. I am sure there are bunch of amateur and pro graphic artists here. BF admin can put out the specification/requirement, then let BF members vote for the best work. A small gift prize for the winner would be nice.

Thank you, that did it and in fact after reading your post I remember this same issue on another forum a couple years ago.

I heard some people don't have a choice at work. Could be a rumor though.

Used to be that the "notification" bar for new PM's was yellow, and easily seen. Now, it's pale blue and easily missed. It's a small thing, but I think it was better when it was yellow.

It looks like we're sponsored by Ronsonol (lighter fluid brand).

I just made my 1st post in a few daze and the reply window went ZING clean over to the right, almost thought I lost it, refresh didn't change that.

The old icons were plenty fine. There are still boards running v.3 and the only real difference was the attachments manager.

Which was still closing on me when I tried to add pictures a week or so back anyway.

Oh well, it'll get there eventually.

Bikes: who cares?

so whatever changed in the last 24 hours has completely ruined my ability to view the forum with IE6.

Yeah, I know, it's not even a supported browser anymore, but I'm forced to use it at work, and they recently cancelled a planned upgrade to IE8.

Basically, I see a brief flash of the thread listings in the subforum and then I get a white screen with only the number of pages and the little green box indicating that I've posted in a thread showing. No titles or anything else.

Everything's fine in Safari.

The minimum width problem hasn't been fixed. Text is much easier to read at narrower column widths. I would use about 900 pixels if it worked.

This screen shot is 1020 pixels wide (in the original: this is scaled down). The text should be wrapping at the edge, instead of going off screen.

The narrowest width that works is about 1150 pixels:

On the Forums page, mousing over the newest post on a forum gave a brief first paragraph, enough to decide whether I wanted to enter that forum and read the entire thread.
Now we've returned to the "you want it, go read it" message. It was the only improvement that I could see. Gone now.
A very minimal point to ***** about, I'll admit. But somebody had to decide that particular function should be worse, not better.

This does not work for Firefox when Firefox is set up only to be part of the screen.

Please fix.

Zoom out 2 clicks under View>zoom out>zoom outand scroll gets very minimal. The only drawback is he text is TINY, then. It does help some though until we get this fixed.
