Damn, Friday again so soon? I'm finding the old cliche regarding the passage of time, "the older you get the faster it passes", to be all too true. Seems like I was in my 30s just a few years ago (but far from it).

cheers,

Brian

Nice work Dave! I love that lug shape.

I made something for a custom home. I guess it's a grate. It's for food prep so it had to be sanitary welded. I machined as fixture to hold the stuff while I welded it. The screen part was prefabbed.

I got some bikes back from paint and shipped also bu we didn't get photos of the Cannondale looking bike. We found a cannondale warranty card in one of our boxes so we put that on the frame. LOL.

Nice looking big bike Frank. Care to share the geometry of the frame, especially the frt cent and cs dimensions?

thanks, Brian

the top tube is 67 and the stays are 425 or so. 72.5 seat angle and I think 73.5 head angle. the bb is 5mm up for the long cranks. I think the head tube is around 230 or so long.

Looks like another friday has snuck up on me......seems like this happens nearly every week.

This is a JK Special just back from paint and on its way to Australia. What did you work on this week?

Dave

Bikes: Eight homemade, three very dusty

In progress. Twin-plate fork for a 20x2.0 wheel. This pictorial by Pereira cycles is extremely useful.

Bikes: See my sig...

Spent the week tweaking and building up bicycles so not a lot of torch work was done.

My touring bike got new handbuilt wheels with a set of Arvon hubs (we make these) and I got my new old 1966 Moulton Mk1 dialled in... started work on a restoration / customization of a Dawes folder and have a little girl waiting for her new old bike to be built.

Wheel orders are piling up too...
