I crashed
I wrecked Saturday and broke my wrist/hand and possibly my foot/leg/ankle. I went to Urgent Care Sunday and had x rays done on my wrist since it was hurting the worse and has some history. I wrecked a dirt bike back on 2001, hyper-extending both wrist. And keep riding and racing through my 30's which accounted for several more minor injuries, Then at work 3 tendons were severed on the top of my hand that opens the index, middle and ring fingers, After that surgery I was left with a left hand to weak to rid dirt bikes aggressively anymore. I did try street bikes after that but it just never took. That's when MTB started and now road bike riding is where what I want is at. My appointment is tomorrow morning, it;s the same guy how fixed my hand last time and I figure it would be worth waiting for the guy that had been there before. And I'll find out how bad my leg is (I have pics of the leg). I'm going yo buy a road bike while my riding is limited while healing.

It had bee a really nice ride up until the crash

Sorry to hear the news. Heal quickly and get out there and ride as soon as you can.

Sorry to hear about your pain. Hope you heal quickly and completely.
I broke my elbow a couple of years ago. and busted my eyebrow.
Needed stitches for the eye and was in a cast for 7 weeks with the elbow.
I healed.
Hows the bike?

Yeah, get well soon, then get back on the bike. I also hit the road hard about 3 weeks ago. I was at mile 33 of a 62 mile ride, when my bud pointed down, that there was something there. Next thing I know I am slamming into the road. I had run over one of those black bungee cords, with the metal hooks on the end. somehow, I must of hit it just right to flip the hook so that it caught my spokes. It got caught between the tire and fork, and I think I must've done a big somersault. I did a systems check after I stopped, and was shocked that I didn't break my collarbone, or do an AC separation!!! Only damage was a big scrape on the back of left shoulder, and a shredded front tire. So be careful out there!!!

So you didn't have them x-ray that leg? I hope its not broken and healing for a week before you go in to confirm it is broken, because if it is broken and is healing they may have to break it again to set it correctly. I've seen it happen with a neighbor, except it was the wrist and only 2 days, and it still had healed enough to force them to re-break it to set it correctly.
Good luck! I hope it is all just some minor lumps and you can get back on and ride soon.

I hope you heal quick,,,,,, but, why would you buy a bike BEFORE you get healed up?
5 weeks ago tomorrow, bought a new Fuji, then 2 days later messed my back up. We are doing a very short ride in the morning. It is miserable having a new bike and not being able to use it. New bike has 16 miles that I got to put on it the day I picked it up.
Heal up first.

My leg is just a bruised bone, they gave me a brace for my wrist to limit movement. The years must be sneaking up on me, used to be that 2 days after is the worse but this time the soreness seems to just be at it's peak. My leg looked broken but never felt broken. I rode it home, about 6 miles, and when I'd pedal I'd think "it doesn't feel broke" but I'd look down and think "it looks broke", lol.

I did win an auction for a road bike on eBay. It wasn't really the one I wanted but at 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of the one I was wanting while being equally equipped, it's a good place to start. I must have made the bid about the time I was posting this thread. Projected date for the bike to be here is Thursday, have to get pedals and a computer bought for it now.
