slx shadow vs. Shadow plus?

So what's the difference in actual function?
I did a little research on the web and the shadow plus has a clutch and mounts differently and some other technical points that I completely do not understand. My question is related to actual functioning. Weight is not a concern.
Are the shifts smoother or faster?
Is it quieter?
Is it more durable?
You get the picture. I understand that the slx shadow plus is better than the slx shadow, I just don't understand why?
thanks.

Basically the clutch keeps the chain from bouncing so much on rough terrain which will help prevent chain drop and will improve shifting on rough stuff. Otherwise they are equal. If you are not riding rough terrain the clutch is of no benefit.
