There are two main ways to post a photo.
1- You can start an account at a photo-hosting service like Imgur. Collect your favorite photos there, then copy & paste the link to the photo here on the forums. Imgur or Flickr are good free resources.
2- You can directly "attach" any photo that resides on your computer into a post on the forums. That is, prepare the text of your post, then "Go Advanced" which will reveal some extra features. Look for the paperclip symbol, that's the attachments feature, and from there you can browse your computer for any photo you want. Be aware of the photo size limitations.
It's simpler than it sounds here. Takes some practice. After doing it a few times it gets easier.

something else that might affect your decision of HOW to post photos, if you use an outside service you can write stuff then insert your photo,

then write some more stuff & insert another photo,

etc

if you use the upload feature of this website, all the photos in a posting will appear after all the stuff you write
(these are automotive wheel brushes, btw)
p.s. regarding the size differences see here, my outside service let's me choose how large the image appears, so I chose small images (those pictures above)
