Question for UK riders.

Do you guys end of wrecking rotors because of the curb? When I used to courier I would sometime catch the derailleur on the curb when negotiating traffic. Now with rotors it would seem to me it would be easy to catch it on the curb if you tilt the bike while stopped or what have you.
