Just because he has close to a 100 lawsuits pending, doesn't mean he would necessarily file one against me. I like to think the president has better things to do.

Most bike thieves seem to ride the bike away and they're very often repeated offenders

I once saw a tweeker looking guy riding away on a bike he had just stolen. Woman and I locked our bikes next to each other outside a market. I used a thick cable and Kryptonite. She used a cheap chain and padlock. She went into the market. I went to get a newspaper first. As I was walking back to the market maybe 5 min. later I saw the guy riding her bike speedily up the street against traffic. Over his shoulder was a small duffel bag. He had undoubtedly been targeting the bike rack, waiting for an easy snatch. The cutting tool(s) was/were likely in the bag. Found the woman in the market and asked if she had leant her bike to anyone. She said she hadn't. I told her someone stole it. She said she hadn't felt like brining her good lock and then said "Oh well." WTH? It wasn't a beater bike. Trek aluminum road bike. Not the best thing I had ever seen, but certainly worth more effort than she put into things, if only to avoid having to walk home.

Not in any way. I don't like bullys and if he bullied people I wouldn't like him either but I didn't read or watch what people said about him and form an opinion, I simply watched him beat other cyclist and I loved it as did all of America. And btw i guess you don't like our president either just cause you think he "acted as a complete bully when he's on top, absolutely ruthless and immoral going after people who dared cross him, I believe he has gotten away with several felonies" how un-American of you sir.
STOP trolling me, no more responses from me.
Y'know for someone who doesn't care about the bad stuff LA did, you sure seem to be very concerned with convincing me I shouldn't care. I didn't troll you, you just decided to send my a bunch of versions of the "you shouldn't care, you hater" post, and sorry but I don't think people who do really bad things to other people so they can keep cheating should be celebrated. And, yeah, I really really hate Trump and how he's damaging this country. What's your point with that?

How about the people who pass off a Chinarello as the real thing?

Not too long ago a guy in my area was selling an expensive Bianchi for suspiciously cheap. "Only ridden a few times". But it had blackened white bar tape, and a Campy grouppo that wasn't stock on the older model older frame.

My question is do people start threads in General Cycling just to post crap? Or do they actually put a little thought into it? There have been some real doozies lately.

We like people who like what we like.

Until it's competitive.

Then we don't like people who like what we like.
