I hiked left while walking up the stairs last night. I think the data will show that left is normal once it gets cool enough to ride. I’ve got a week + tour planned for September. That should be reveal the answer.

I am envious of your tours brother. 2.5 years before I can fully retire and finally get in a good tour.

Bikes: I have 3 singlespeed/fixed gear bikes

This isn't a serious topic, this thread is a joke.

I get 5 weeks of paid vacation. You don’t need a lot of time off to get out there. I do a few long weekend tours every year.

I typically stand on the pedals and let it rip then look behind me to ensure nobody I know
snuck up on me.

It is possible she was following too closely forcing you to "break the wind" for her.

Sure would be nice if all this venting took place during rides and not in the forums.

Regarding rides with Cheryl, "farther" = fart+her. Coincidence? I think not.

I posted a similar thread back in 2009 about letting one rip on a fix gear :-) Not an easy task!

Can you let one rip AND carry a golf club on your bike at the same time?

No lifting required.

Glad I could contribute in a meaningful way.
I think the Selle AnAtomica cutout affords the most venting area.

I try to be polite and announce "the air is going bad for no apparent reason". The first time I make that announcement people usually look at me kind of funny, the second time they get moving.

Umm, yeah, I'm right handed and I lift the right cheek, never the left.
