This appears to be an excellent, yet costly, solution, as the Ace states it will do exactly what I had been hoping to achieve and with very little error. My analog approach was fraught with inconsistencies and variables, making results less meaningful.

Is the Wahoo device doing anything for you other than letting you know what gear number and what the gear ratio is? Does the companion app log that data over the duration of the ride? How will you use that data?

At this point, it's no longer about you. We're just keeping it alive by trading jabs, funny puns and subtle insults with each other. Like watching cat videos or trainwreck videos, we just can't stop.

I feel it helps with efficiency. Yes, I believe it is logged, and you can compare rides if you do the same route, which would also be useful.
