#61 - Gun Decks // The platforms that absorb the massive force of our guns.Every Velominatus knows their guns aren’t their arms (carry those gallons of milk in one at a time, we don’t want to build up too much upper body mass, Hercules) but their legs. And we all know the way to make our bikes go faster is to push harder on the Gun Decks, also known as pedals. Thanks to @Conor via email.

Close enough. I don't think there's an exact translation but yeah that gets the general idea across.

I like:
‘Sit up and beg’
‘The yellow (now yellow green) jacket of authority’. And their perceived aura of invincibility.
Festum Prophetae’. Eddy M.

So many classics. .

In SE Florida, the weather prediction can be 5% chance of rain and we get a huge dumping of rain right in the middle of the ride. Whenever that happens, I yell out, "Rule # 9!!!"

Flame suit on...I think the Velominati rules need some modernization. For example, rule 48 dictates that saddles must be level and pushed back. All the cool kids nowadays know that your saddle needs to be slammed forward and be near a 4° downward tilt, as in the style of the great Pogi.

The rules are correct. The rules are always correct.
