Campfire songs... help!

Heya, I play guitar and i know some of you camp and i would assume some of you have favorite songs to play/sing while you're sitting around. I'll post my list of songs/artists i know, could you give me some other songs to learn that are good to play around the campfire (themes such as on the road again, rivers, cycling, being in nature, etc...)

Willie Nelson - On the Road Again
Beck - Hollow Log
Bob Dylan - Simple Twist of Fate (though a little long)
Bob Marley - Misty Morning, Satisfy my Soul, One Love, etc...
CCR - Who'll Stop the Rain (for those rainy trips)
David Bowie - Ashes to Ashes, Wild is the Wind, etc...
Janes Addiction - Jane Says, Classic Girl, Mountain Song
Phish - few songs, don't remember the names...
Pink Floyd - you know the ones
Stone Temple Pilots - Kitchenware & Candybars
Sublime - Smoke two joints, lets go get stoned
Rolling Stones - Gimme shelter

etc.... anyone have any good suggestions, some of those songs i posted aren't very good anyways, lemme know what you think!
I wanna learn a bunch of songs this summer.
i'm going for a bike ride now.

You guys must have some strange campouts, none of these are campfire songs. To be considered a good campfire song it must stick in your head like skunk on the undercarriage, be fun for all ages (so the young ears in the next campsite can listen), and should involve nature or outdoor activities.

Might I suggest "YoHo" from the Pirates of the Caribbean?

Civil war songs:
Tenting tonight
Eating ****er's Peas
...

Old cowboy songs:
Oh Bury me not
Chisum trail
Red River Valley
Home on the Range
...

Folk Songs:
If I had a hammer
Where have all the flowers gone
anything by Joan Biaz
...

Maybe some drinking songs:
Drunk tonight
Let me go home
...

Hope this gives you places to look
Joe

The song is Zulu hunting chant, adapted by Solomon
Linda, a south african entertainer. It was
picked up by Pete Seeger who titled
it Wimoweh in 1954. The song was made famous by the Tokens who recorded it in 1961.
It has been covered by almost every aspiring Folk group from the 60's.

Original lyrics are:
Hush, hush, the lion is sleeping, the lion is sleeping, creep up softly on him, for If we are successful, there shall be lion meat tonight.
A bit different than
Hush my darling, don't fear my darling, the lion sleeps tonight. . .

Don't forget the classics! Any campfire guitarist should be able to sing (Ghost) Riders in the Sky and Kumbaya.

Then there's all those good John Denver songs like Take me Home Country Roads....

And the Tennesee Bird Walk is a good one.

Ummmm he stated that he is going to have the guitar as accompnyment which means it needs a catchy hook line but not be to guitar intenseive.
led zeppelins - over the hills and far away has a GREAT hook/chop intro the pretty much continues throughout the song. If have it ripped to mp3 if you would like a listen email and i'll send it to you.

I'm sorry but those songs suck and I sang them in camp when i was like 10. The thought had crossed my mind, but i decided against it.

I'm well, thanks, Marty.
Still spinning as often as possible.
My office moved in with my client and we have a overlord who monitors the web use. I still poke around when I can.
Cheers

(And I had to come back to grab my 900th post)
