Hi Clint. I have to say that I didn't really get time to look at too many of the features last night, but I'll be doing that in the near future. One thing I did like about BP were the daily/monthly graphs, but it's possible that you already have those and I just haven't found them yet.

Now I just hope I can retrieve the first two months of the year from BP because I didn't back it up on a spreadsheet.

Chris, Who are you on activebody? What about everyone else? Especially the people ahead of me: Jim Taylor and Jack Twitchell**********

clintthayer 03-08-04 06:24 AM

I do have reports/graphs but if I can "slam" my own site I'd say that the reports and graphs could be better. So many improvement, so little time.

I think you guys are going to like the new challenge series pages I'm working on... ;)

Sweet. Now I won't have to beat my stoker with a whip anymore to bring up the pace... ;)

I got my first outside ride in today! Oh My Gosh! I am so out of shape. I almost caughed up a lung after only 18 miles. Granted it was 32 degrees and I was wearing like 10 extra pounds, but I really felt crappy. :(

Chris Lewthwaite. There's a good chance I'm still behind you overall. I still have about two months worth of data to retrieve from Bikeprolog yet.

I do like the challenge that's up right now. Of course, come July I'll be setting up the second annual bikeforums TdF challenge -- a virtual ride around the TdF course. Feel free to jump on that bandwagon if you like. :)

I don't see you on the list at all. Sure you signed up for the newer list?

There's a newer list? Maybe I got that one wrong.

DnvrFox 03-09-04 06:48 AM

There was an original team, to which a few people signed up.

Somehow, shortly thereafter, another team was started on which many people signed up. Then most of the people on the first team moved to the 2nd team.

Then, even more confusing, I wtarted a team for those wanting to record weight loss.

The name of the current team is "Bike Forums"

I don't remember the password. Somewhere it is in this lloonngg thread, or email Clint.

There are now 29 folks on the team. I see your name nowhere. Have you subscribed to a team?

clintthayer 03-09-04 07:07 AM

Chris,

Denver is correct. the team you should be in is

Team: Bike Forums
password: cyclista

I'm going to put this info in my sig so everyone can see it... if others ask... find my last post and get it from there.

LOL, How many times has this same info been passed? Good thinking to add the name and PW in your Sig Clint. ;)

NZLcyclist 03-09-04 06:45 PM

There appears to be 4 seperate BF.net CYCLING teams, and the weight loss one. All of the cycling ones can be joined by that cyclista password it seems. I have joined all four, and I only need to enter my data once for it to be recorded on all of them.

The teams are:
well i would list them if I could get into the site..... oh well I shall list them soon.

Thanks. I'll fix that in the near future. Guess I was just too lazy to scroll through this entire thread to find it. :D

clintthayer 03-09-04 10:08 PM

I see

Bike Forums
BF
Team BF

then the weight loss team. I would delete the others, but I make it a point not to delete teams that others create. From this point on... the team listed in my sig is the official Bike Forums team to join up. Your welcome to join the others, but the majority of us are on the Bike Forums team.

Hope this clears things up,
Clint

OK, I appear to have found the correct team and joined up. I've also transferred the February distances across - another 2,000km or so to come from January yet. I'm only counting distance ridden this year because that's all I counted in Tasmania on tour -- about 1,000 of my km in January will be from there.

I have one general comment/question. How can I view the distances in km? Have I missed something?

willic 03-10-04 03:27 AM

Hey Chris... How about being Patriotic?. Start an Aussie Team . The bike forum teams are over weighted already.

clintthayer 03-10-04 06:15 AM

Hey Chris,

That feature is coming... like a stupid american, I never thought the site would get that popular outside the US! DOH! I'll start working on that one next.

Well, you sure pushed me one notch lower in the list!

Oh well, I will just keep spinning.

If hardcore activebody users would like to go visit the CyclingPlus forums and let the current BikeProLog users know that you like activebody, you can jump to the following links... No biggy if you don't have time, just thought they might like to hear it from the users themselves... Also if your from the UK it might be even better...

Nice Clint! I like the Age sort feature and the Define Bike features best. Better get all this work done now as the riding season is almost here in Wisconsin.
BTW "notsofast" is SinGate's at work account.

clintthayer 03-12-04 06:07 AM

I'm not so worried about the riding season as much as I'm worried about the baby coming in Aug.

I have to admit my two kids resulted in a two year "rest" from biking. Good luck! Just don't forget to get that activepotty.com site up and running.... ;)

clintthayer 03-12-04 08:23 AM

don't worry... just make sure you visit the site at the first part of April... ;)
