Come Jan 1, all the current year totals go back to 0, but you will see your 2003 totals in the main page if you have the "View Month Data Section" option checked in the prefs. Thanks again for finding that bug, Clint I need a pat on the back also! :D <guffaw> |
lol perhaps clint needs to check that part of his site? not just this site? hehe

Come on guys!!! Cut me some slack! It's the holiday and I've had family in the house.
 |
I didn't feel comfortable putting the year's mileage in as it wasn't 100% accurate, so I just put some metric centuries in that I participated in, and a full century and this months riding etc. still 6th though....I will add EVERY ride next year and give you guys a run for ya money! how many Mi is 13,000km?
|
Good!
Not sure what my miles will be like in 2004. I'm going to do more time trials then road races in 2004 so I expect my miles to be a great deal less, but perhaps a little faster? We will find out in about 12 months! |
I will be doing alot of everything it seems.... TTT, ITT, HC (only found one hill climb of as yet, unless I travel further afield) Road Race.

if you are doing TTT, then you must be on a team right? Love to hear reports on racing in the future!

We will find out in about 12 months! I know for a lot on the forum this is not alot of miles, but I have a hard time getting away to put in the miles, and I'm for the most part a fair weather rider (also, this is Wisconsin and I wont ride until all the salt and sand is off the roads from the winter). We'll see... |
Well it is part of the schools racing (i'm 17) to have Team Time Trials, then champs with Road racing, Hill Climb, criteriums TTT and ITT depending on which champs series it is. The TTT's are run every second sunday morning during the winter in the middle of the year. 6.610m rollout restriction for our grade, 16km course. I am currently (and have been) at schools without enough riders for a whole team, so we get together with another school in the same boat and enter a mixed composite team with both genders. We are ineligible for points, but it's still alot of fun. The record for the course on restricted gears is 20:20 or something damn fast.
I am currently updating my website to include a log of my racing results: http://www.vectorstar.net/~porsche/SSRC/index.html and photos etc etc. Regards, Brendon |
Very cool brendon! I wish my school had a cycling team but we were lucky to have football team! I biked a little in high school, but took some time off the bike in college. Now after college I have the time and $$$, I was able to get back into the sport a little.
My wife and I race tandem in the Wisconsin citizens levels series called WISport (http://www.wisport.org) during the summer months. It's a great way to stay fit and enjoy the sport, but also not take it to seriously. Our team web page is http://www.atkinscrc.com and if you are ever in the US (and WI) we should get together and do a ride. Thanks for sharing! PS - it would be cool to have a link on your online resources page to activebody. I can provide a banner image if you want one.

Just put my miles back to October in totalled up at 1470! Didn't realize I had ridden quite that many ( before october my palm pilot log gets a bit sketchy for a few months, my odometer reads 4998 since February though, mostly commute miles, amazing how fast the miles rack up with a 20 mile one way commute). I am looking forward to seeing the miles the new year brings. I'm not the fastest but I can keep going!
|
Welcome Paul!
The miles do tend to just pile up. My work commute is about 6-12 miles a day (depending on if I go the long route) and I love it. I try to go all year which in WI can be tough on some days but it beats using gas. A bad day on a bike is still a good day. Have a great day (on the bike) and thanks for using the site! Clint |
Well I just posted my last ride for the year, a measly 16km...but oh well look out next year boyzz! and gals ;)
Brendon |
Got my 1,000! On the dot! :D 2004 goal = 2,004 miles ;)
Clint, I gotta had it to you. ActiveBody RULES! Happy New Year y'all! |

Oh BTW congrats on 1,000! :D ...Now about that wager; are we gonna make a go of it or what? I have a $1 bill that says I will put in more miles than you in 2004. Don't bother betting with Clint tough, he'll beat both of us combined twice over. |
Shall we see if I can beat Clint for you? :D

the gauntlet has been thrown....
Words are cheap... miles are everything ;) (just joking) :D |
