Well, I certainly don't have anything to compete with these fine bikes that have been listed here. I have about a 1991/92 model Schwin Sprint.
Will try to get a picture of it up soon. Dan |
I have a 2002 Cannondale R700 roadbike, 2002 Trek 4300 mountain bike and a 2003 Norco Sasquatch moutain bike. I want to get a 2004 Kona Unit this winter, a nice single speed to get me in shape in the spring :)

Calfee, custom Tetra with Campy Record 10 speed. Weighs in at 16 lbs. A very sweet ride indeed, but I still can't beat my partner up those climbs.

yr 2000 model TREK 2200. Except for tires (of course)
& an immediate change of the most uncomfortable Selle something or other saddle to a KOOBI SI, the bike is pretty much just like it was the day I brought it home fom the bike shop. I replaced the 12-25 105 cassette with a 12-25 Ultegra/new Ultegra chain a while back. the rest is all original 105. The new 2200's have a good mix of 105/Ultegra. I've really enjoyed the bike. |
See my sig.

2004 Kona Hoss (see my avatar). I'm a big guy (5'11", 260lbs.) and just recently got back into mountain biking after about a decade. The Hoss is just about perfect for me - durable, reliable and didn't cost me a fortune. Eventually - after losing some weight, getting into better shape and improving my skills - I'll probably get a FS bike. For right now, though, I'm loving the Hoss...

My new baby!! They just completed the frameset and she goes off to be powdercoated today!!
BTW, in case you're wondering she's a Thorn eXp expedition touring bike being custom built by SJS Cycles in the UK. Ain't she pretty?!?!?! :D |
That look's like a great touring ride! What's she made of and what are you going to build her up with. Looks like she deserves Campy.
|
She's made of Reynolds Conical 725 heat treated tubing. The frame is low temperature fillet brazed with Top tube: diameter ø - 31.8/28.6mm tapered gauge - 1.0/0.7/1.0mm
Down tube diameter ø - 31.8/34.9mm* tapered gauge - 1.0/0.7mm Seat tube diameter ø - 31.8/28.6mm takes 27.0mm seatpost. She's getting Shimano XT 9-speed 11/32 cassette. 22/32/44 rings. 48 hole Sun Rhyno rims/Shimano XT Tandem hubs, plain gauge spokes with Schwalbe Marathon XR (rigid) 26 x 1.9" tires. All topped off with a Brooks B-67 saddle :D Basically we're talking a Hummer on 2 wheels(or Sherman Tank)!! |
only one problem with it, istanbul, the forks upside down! (sorry, it had to be said)
