you can steer by turning your head?

If you are not careful you will definitely steer by turning your head. Try it.

Well, I just got a new digital camera, so i figured it was about time I posted a picture of the latest addition to the stable. It was a $98 craigslist score that I added the moustache handlebars to, and it's making a hell of a city beater. I can't imagine anyone wanting to steal it if there's another bike within a block of it :

jim-bob: I really like your bike, it looks great! Specially with that moustach hendlebar! A little Bridgestone or Rivendell over it. Cool!

Heres my current ride, '01 S-Works M4 Road. It has entry level Campy components but the frame/fork are wayyyyyyyy upgradeable!
I also have a '04 Trek 4300 Disk on Lay-A-Way.......soon to be released! http://www.angelfire.com/oz/roundelr...s/bicycle2.jpg John |

All of my bikes came either from a Pawn Shop or the local Salvation Army Thrift Store! All of which are ridden on a regular basis! Way to go on the great find! Hope you got a good deal on it! |
N7CZinMT,
I got the bike for $48, plus tax, not quite as good a deal as yours, but I'm satisfied. It has a few nicks here and there, and a broken kickstand attached, but is structurally sound. I actually bought it for my wife, hoping to get her back in the saddle, but the frame was too big for her. Now it's my errand bike and soon-to-be commuter. I purchased the bar-ends at Target ($6.95), and the rack was a Christmas gift from my wife. Not included in the photo is my cheap-o headlight, a $10 Bell special from Wal-Mart. The other accessories were spares. Now I can at least ride with my kids and not leave them in the dust! (IOW, I can ride as slowly as them without killing my knees). Horatio (Still trying to think of a good signature) |

Horatio (Still trying to think of a good signature) My kids are really the ones who got back into cycling! Although now they wish I wasn't... :) They never seem to want to go out in the snow and cold for a ride... :D Oh well, next summer they'll be back with me... |

Beautiful VeloKraft
Love the low racers but in the interest of equal time, here's a pic of my current high racer:

http://home.insightbb.com/~dtresenriter/volae.jpg I've got a buddy interested in one of the volae bikes. He has an easy sport as a first recumbent and is already looking for something faster but not quite a lowracer yet. I keep telling him though that low is where everyone eventually migrates to in the quest for more speed. Thats a good looking bike by the way. |
I feel so cheap. I ride a RoadMaster MT FURY.
