6000386 still works. If you cut-and-paste the code, make sure you delete the space (" ") at the end of the "6" before submitting your order. Safest thing is to just type in "6000386" for your coupon code.

I used the ***386 code today 09/28/04 at about 2:00pm CST and got my 20% off. ***387 didn't work for me, it said its been used. I hope the code last till the end of the year. With my Team Performance membership I get an additional 10% credit for my next purchase plus upgrade for 2nd day shipping. What a deal!!!

It took my coupon code - but the charge to my credit card did not have the 20% discount. Be sure to check your invoice.
I called customer service, and they said they cancelled those coupon codes, because too many people were using them (which begs the question, why put them out?).
After discussing it with a polite customer service rep for a bit, I informed them that I only authorized the amount printed on the confirmation screen for my credit card. After the rep talked to her supervisor, they agreed to give me the credit, although I did have to push for it a bit.
She mentioned that although the website is taking the code, they are not honoring the code unless people can actually fax or mail in the physical coupon.
I placed this order on 9/22 - so if you placed an order on or after that date, check what you *thought* you paying, versus what was charged to your credit card. There was no notification that the code was not accepted. Perhaps it is because I had used the code before?
Good luck!

You are correct.Looks like the 20% off is dead.It was nice while it lasted.

I just placed an order yesterday and bought a Bob so it seemed to have worked fine. It also saved 20% on the Team Performance sign up. With the Ebates I saved 23%. Good Deal!

Without the 20% discount, I'm not sure if I will continue to buy from Performance. Will you?

I'm not crazy about their service. I sent in a pair of defective short to get it replaced, but I have waited 15 days and have yet receive them. The CSR told me to wait 15 BUSINESS days, but it never take this long for a package from USPS.
With the 20% discount code and 10% TP member discount on top, buying from Performancebike can be quite a saving. For me, without the coupon code, I'll just lay-low for a while. I had already spent way too much money with these people.

So 20% doesn't work anymore (although it may still show on the website)? A few more confirmations of this would be greatly appreicated.

The Performance 20% off code 6000386 just worked for me at ~10am CST, 10/5/04. I tried 6000387 first (since I thought that had a longer time to live) but it said it had already been used, as many others have found.

I placed a Team Performance order on the phone today (10/5/04) and they wouldn't accept 6000387 or 6000386. The rep said the computer came back with 'expired' or 'already used'. I let it go.
Without the 20% I don't know if they're such a great deal now that I've redeemed all of my outstanding points.

i dont know if i'll be buying from Performance anymore since their 20% coupons do not work. If i told you how many orders i've place and how much i've bought from them from April to TODAY, you wouldn't believe me. Some of the parts were for myself, other were for stocking a shop(since i was getting a 20% and 10%(team performance), parts came out lower than bike shop insider prices). And some parts i've sold myself through classifieds.
Tried placing my phone order today(25mins ago) and both '387 and '386 coupons did not work(rep said that those 20% coupons were misUsed by a lot of people and if i wanted the 20% i had to mail the order in along with the actual coupon), cancelled the whole order($2k+) and wished CSR "it was a pleasure buying from you, take care".
I gotta admit it was great while it lasted, but i'm going to JensonUSA and Rbikes for my upgrades. And to begin with - inventory at Performance is very poor(almost no DH/FR parts). Maybe I'll still buy clothing from Performance but since i'm building a V8 for 2005 i cant take the advantage of 20% coupon anyway, so i'm not loosing anything.

Are the online orders having better luck than the phone orders?
Looks like its worth a try.

I just tried to use 6000386 / 7 / 8 / 9 (taking pot shots here) on and Easton EC90 SLX carbon fork. No go. I just used 6000386 three days ago on an Easton EC90 carbon seatpost and it worked fine. I knew I should have bought the fork then (will save me $50.) Damn!
