Bikes: Lots

The size of the bicycle and the Suntour parts suggest late 1980s.

You might want to inquire on the Bianchi site if they ever made a bicycle with red paint. That colour is not what I think of when I think of Bianchis.

Wife has a 1988 Bianchi, I' say the red Bianchi might be more very early 80's or late 70's because of the flat fork crown. You can see in 88 they used a smooth top on the fork as well as most the pics I've seen of late 80's. (but I could be wrong)

Her 88 had bio pace rings and 105 hubs.

But yup, I've seen all colors of Bianchis, red , black, blue, white etc.

fer example, another red 88.... https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...xed-Conversion!

I agree Bianchis should only be sold in Celeste, however they do make them in other colors.

Yup, here's a $9000 Bianchi. I've also seen Marco ride a pink and black Bianchi in the tours back in the late 90's. But I too would rather see celeste.

When I worked in a Bianchi shop back in 83, the celeste colored bikes were only higher end models. and that seems to be a 70's or early 80's bike. go check with a local bianchi dealer, they may know.

Post this to the Classic & Vintage forum. I bet you Bianchigirl identifies it with one eye closed.
