I havnt been on the forums in a while. Sadly my interest in bicycles seemed to diminish a little as things got hectic. But i have recently gained more interest in it and am gunna get back to being a daily rider(i always seem to start up again in the winter).

I Also just got hired as a part-time bicycle mechanic yesterday so im going to make some new cycling friends who will help me start back up again.

I'm sure you guys will see me poking around in the winter cycing, mechanics, mountain and bmx biking sub forums so im hoping to participate and help out whoever i can.

I also drop out from time to time from this forum. When I get to feeling as though I've said and read everything that there is to say and read for a while.

But I come back because I do just love being among those who love the bicycle like I do. I meet so few of them in person. (Few? More like none.........)

I know the feeling! I have always found it hard to find people who are as interested in riding as i am. That is partly why i stopped for a while. At least i stopped becuase i got really into weight lifting and running. Ive lost 35 pounds of fat and put on about 5 in muscle. At least im getting back into cycling in better shape than before! I start work on the 16th so hopefully i will meet many more local people who share my interest.

If youre having trouble finding other cyclists i would strongly suggest learning more about your local clubs, shops or just groups that have group rides. Search it up on the interwebs and maybe you can find a local group ride you can join( although they probally dont start until spring).
