Fitment question

Hi all, I have a 2014 Cannondale CAAD10 3 bike which has the BB30 bottom bracket and FSA SLK Light carbon crank / crank arms. Full specs are here: CAAD10 3 Ultegra - CAAD10 - Elite Race - ROAD - BIKES - 2014

Am I correct in thinking that for adding a Stages Power Meter (which has to be metal) that the FSA Energy crank arm would work?

Stages site says:
For FSA owners we offer a Stages Power meter, which serves to upgrade an array of FSA's MegaEXO 24mm and BB30 crank options with power. The Stages Power meter is mounted to FSA's hollow forged Energy alloy non-drive crank arm. The BB30 version has across the board compatibility with FSA and Vision BB30 modes. Please note that the MegaEXO model will only fit MegaEXO crank systems 2014 and newer, and will not fit the MegaEXO Omega model. The Stages Power FSA model will not fit any FSA cranks with a pinch-bolt style interface, nor will the BB30 version fit any BB386EVO models.
It also says it will fit BB30 bottom brackets.

Stages Power models

Is there any reason this wouldn't work? Is there any challenge to running mismatched crank arms? (They would be the same length, 172.5mm, but one would be hollow alloy and the other hollow carbon)

I'd appreciate a thumbs up this will work before I drop $700.
