What stem is that? Is it adjustable?

Its a Spectra stem. Spectra is a european conglomerate of bike brands with its own line of components and clothes. I dont know if you´ve got it over in the US. Its adjustable.

Nice, cyclops! What model is that? It almost looks like it says allegro, but I thought that had a suspension fork for some reason. Can't quite make out the model name on my little screen....

This is a Hybrid right?
I bought it to ride on path/gravel/occasional road

I really like the tires being slick in the center for pavement but thick treads on the side for off trail.

Is your saddle broken ??

Scott_TN 06-26-11 04:37 PM

No, I just angled it downward because I think its more comfortable that way. I am still playing around with it.

After riding 83 miles on an unpaved path yesterday, I can see the advantage to having a saddle that will not support your weight. I was standing up a lot towards the end of the ride. :)

Ummmmm,coffee....My hybrid is in there some where...

Sadly the Road bike has been gathering dust, so I took it out early this morning (fueled by Le Tour last night) for a little trek around two mountains.

I just did a google on it. Seems like a 1991 vintage (?) Is it yours? It's in nice condition.

This one looks hot:
