Its a beautiful and amazing country, its always been a dream of mine to visit.
To live and work there traveling back and forth from "sraya"would be a dream.
Not that it means anything on this forum but I bought my car from a japanese auction and shipped it to australia because its not sold here.:D

I haven't been back to Straya for a couple years, as getting the time off at the same time is hard for my family and I. It is a very strange feeling crossing from one culture to another, especially as I'm used to Japanese culture right now. What car did you get? We have so many different cars here which are probably never going to be sold in Oz, and the number of hybrids and electrics here are surprising. Although not Japanese, I saw my first hybrid Porsche today. I was opposite the local Posrche dealership, and watched this guy take it for a test drive.

This will be one of for a one off for a tredlly forum but bought this five years ago from japan.
Though anyone looking to carry a bunch off hybrids this is the go, much modded.
As for a hybrid porsche I dont want to know they should only burn loads of fuel and go fast.
As for mine its a delica and when cleaning it found japanese currency under the seats now keep as lucky charms.

These are very popular here with many Delica Clubs. One of my neighbours bought a brand new one about three months ago.

I just realized I don't have a pic of my tandem hybrid as it is currently set up that isn't taken on my roof rack (sans front wheel).

Looks like a beautiful area you live in. Also I think the tandem pic is cool. Maybe it could double as a new style of hybrid car.

I visited the shimano museum (Osaka) a few years ago and took these while I was there.

Recently acquired Univega Via Carisama - 1994. I added the racks and after about 60 miles logged I'm pretty darn happy with the ride.

I got this Avid Rollamajig yesterday. I've given it a whirl today and have noticed quite a difference in my up-shifting. I believe they were initially made to improve the shifting of shimano deraileurs. So far so good.
I've got some new jagwire cables ordered to finish it off.

Yep I had to google what this "thingamajig" was for and read some reviews.
It seems to have alot of merit I have found with my current set up changing up gears or to larger cogs I need to hold the shifter lever in a couple of seconds for a clean change, this would help.
The only thing to watch is where it screws into the deraillier because its made of plastic.
I found alot of sellers the cheapest is chain reaction cycles but darn:( only last night I ordered tires from them, if only I knew then.
Anyway on e-bay I'm highest bidder on dura-ace deraillier and need a road cassette so want change that setup first.:)

I think I finally worked out how to ride this bike. :p
You sit in the middle where its banana shaped then rest your elbows and forarms on the padded table like thing in front of you and hold bar or steerer in the front then push on the ground with your feet and basically run along. :D
"Woohoo"

My friends organised a charity night tonight to raise money for the earthquake victims.
Frames and parts were auctioned off and they raised about $10,000.
Anyway, this is my friend Hatori San's hybrid (**********) which he rode to the auction.

The pic two up is the biggest drop I've ever seen. I almost threw my back out just looking at it!

Yes I think it's too much but he has all his bikes (except MTB) set up the same. This is his road bike, it too has a huge saddle to bar drop.

The fundraiser went well. We have an alley cat this saturday night so we hope to raise some more.

Good work. Crisis brings the best out of people. There is a bit of silver in even the darkest cloud. Best wishes !

I remember years ago Colnago and Ferarri started a collaboration to produce high end carbon fibre frames, but a few years ago I noticed Ferarri joined the ranks of Hummer, Chevrolet, Renault etc to produce cheap sh1t.
Stop the bus, I want to get off!!!

Well that does it I'm never buying a ferrari again, only bugatti veyrons for me. :notamused:
If you buy any new ferrari a colnago MTB comes with it as a package. A ferrari buyer sold one on ebay awhile back, I placed a bid but sold for to much. :(
