About to purchase some stuff

I am about ready to purchase a bunch of stuff for my old Trek, not necessarily performance items, more comfort for longer rides. Here is the stuff I'm thinking of:

I have a similar quill stem and works fine. Although I'm ditching the threaded headset for a threadless and a new fork.

Yeah very sure of the stuff, it actually came in yesterday, I just finished the swap out this morning, everything went together perfectly, looks like it will make the bike better for longer rides, and by ditching the heavier stuff that was on the bike I probably saved 2 - 3 lbs in total weight.The only things that weren't in the budget right now are some really nice wheels to replace the heavy slightly out of true Weinman wheels and hubs.
