Review of your week and wassup for this week-end?
Saturday - 40 mile road race, finished 2/3rds down in the bunch with Cat 4 group. Everyone seemed at least 25 years younger.
Sunday - 65 mile ride with local club, 40 miles in Z3/4. Kicked ass. Sore legs.
Monday rest, still sore legs.
Tuesday 2 hours high cadence session Z2/Z3. Still sore legs.
Wednesday 2 hours hilly circuit Z1/Z2. Still have sore legs.?
Thursday, sore legs. 2 Hours with 5 x 300 yard sprints up a 11,5% gradient as hard as I can. 3 x 20 second sprints on 2-3% gradient, the rest all z2.
Friday wtf, sore legs are completely gone???? Rest day. No races close by this week-end.
Saturday coming, 65 mile charity/fun ride will probably turn into a recreational race with no yellow line rule and no winner.
Sunday local club ride 65 miles.
Stretching 20 minutes every day.

You sure that's enough recovery, Colnago?
My week was a bust, training-wise. Ex had a great week laid out, but work is intense right now, dominating my thoughts even in the rare moments I'm not actually working. About 60 hours this past week. I'm in the midst of an information architecture design effort, and it's hard to ignore technical challenges until they are solved. So here is what was assigned, and what I actually did:
...................Assigned................Accomplished
Saturday.......Opener/Sprints.......Opener/Sprints
Sunday.........Races....................55+ and 45+ Crit's
Monday.........Day Off.................Day Off
Tuesday........Practice Crit...........Nada
Wednesday...1.5h of Pace...........Nada
Thursday.......HIIT......................Nada
Friday...........Day Off.................1:15 of Pace
Saturday.......3 hrs mixed...........3:30, but NOT what was intended - rubber legs.
Sunday.........Recovery Ride........Recovery ride for coffee with TallWife
Will do my best to get back in the groove this week.

I rode the recumbent in the fishbowl gym at the hotel every morning. That kind of sucks.
