My cog is slipping

Hey, I don't know if I just post this here, just looking for a quick reply.

I jusr bought a brand new apollo fued, and when I change to 6th gear (The smallest cog), if I push hard on the pedal, the cog rotates with the pedals, but only when I push hard. When I look at the cog, I see the 5th and 6th gear are a seperate part the the other 4, is there anything I can do to tighten this?

Thanks in advance,
a keen, but worried biker.

Take it back to the place you got it from, and get them to fix it, new bike = warranty/service issue.

Your bike is new and you are within warranty then take advantage of it and take it back to the bike shop.
