Hi does anyone know how to change cable on mantinou r7 remote lock off

I've no experience w/your particular model, but on my Rockshox the remote lever is connected to the fork using standard shifter wire and housing. The wire is anchored at the fork end by a tiny little set screw that you have to be careful not to strip. I would surmise that Manitou takes a similar approach.

Unfortunately it's not the same they are connected in a rose joint

[MENTION=467416]Dave50[/MENTION], have you looked at the PDFs linked to by cobba? Those appear to show how the remote is wired.

Doesn't sound like it could be replaced with something like a brake or derailleur cable.
Manitou/Hayes are known to have good customer service.

Hydraulic, maybe? Hydraulic-activated lockouts were briefly a thing.
