pretty sure mtb's are the best thing ever.
Nice!!! What bars are you running? Is that a Brooks Cambium saddle? I'm looking to go with a Black Cambium on mine.

A belated Fathers Day outing last Friday with my son at Silver Mountain Bike Park, Kellogg, ID. One of the day's runs down Upper Hammer.

24 miles today at allaire. saw someone on a black krampus today while was chowing down at the trailhead, was that you @Vonruden?

overall pretty cool, i wish there was a higher dirt:sand ratio on the main area though. looking at my ride it looks like i hit a lot of unmarked paths, i really enjoyed the twisties on the orange area, cant really figure out what that section is called

hit some jumps and caught some air, overall though it was indeed very SS friendly. lotsa dudes out there on full squish, wonder what they think theyll encounter out there

Most likely me, started around 8:00am, probably finished around 9:30 -10:00am as the wife had beach plans. You should have pm'd me, I could have kept you off the sand. I know where all the good TTF's are, hit me up next time for a good tour.

Nice, Six mile is a lot of fun, not a lot of elevation change, great single track and switch backs as well. A little on the swampy side and tends to stay muddy after rains. Enjoy!

definitely liked this place more than Allaire, more climbing and technical features kept it interesting, another 25 miles today
i hit up some of the D&R canal path once i got to the end of the blue for some recon. plan on doing a S24o riding from newark-ish to hunterdon nj and camping
i really enjoyed the orange trail despite me not being very good at switchbacks

lots of iron ore in the soil, me and the bike are covered in red dust

oregonites may be familiar with "the red sauce"

there were sections of the blue trail that idunno what it was, probably squirrels in the trees knocking off twigs and nuts etc. but it always sounded like there was someone coming up the trail behind me. spooky.

a young couple had their very large pit off a leash and twice it chased me down the trail, and both times i ate it when i looked back. it didnt attack and was just playing, but come on people, if your animal dont behave, leash!
