Ugh the idea of going downhill and losing your brakes makes me feel sick.

Happened to me once. Horrible feeling.

But did you get to the bottom quicker?

BTW, did the loosen and tighten trick on my brakes. Now instead of just rubbing on one side, it pretty much centered but it's making a tiny tinging sound when spinning the wheel from where I guess the disk is a bit warped. 2 run's and the disk is warped already? Fark me.

[Edit] So I tried mtb-chops's tip of rotating the wheel and tightening it at different places and got a spot where everything's sweet. Thank's heaps for that.
