Pedals, they were cheap while I decide wether or not to invest in a decent clipless system. Currently running SPD's on everything else.

Rear rim is an Aussie made Velocity, dont think it has anything to do withe other Velocity. The rim is immensely strong and not overweight, I brought my 18 y/o son a pair for his townie and he cant bend em.

Hussar, no idea, seems like a well made part. Guess I'll find out.

Pimp?

Rims...I want!

yellowjeep 05-16-09 12:06 PM

Those are 26in Velocity Deep Vs. I guess they are calling them the chukker now though.

Is it just me or is that fork bent?

cyclops 05-17-09 01:44 AM

Yeah that fork is bent.

joetronic 05-17-09 06:10 AM

yeah, and both tires are flat... No grips... Children's bike saddle. Whats going on with this? Is it a joke... :p

That voodoo is sweet. What chainring are you running? How do you like it. I was thinking of picking up one soon, was drooling over one last night. sexy

Hello all, I just got my first "real" mountain bike!! I started riding MTBs when I was about 10, then when I discovered cars, I stopped riding. I picked up cycling again last year as a roadie (don't hate) and I finally got a MTB. I got an 89 (I think) Cannondale M800. It's only got a RockShox Hyrda 10, but the RD is a Deore XT, so I think I got a good deal at $50. No pics yet, but hopefully I'l get some up soon. Ya'll will probably be hearing more form me in the near future, as I live on about 300 wooded acres with roads cut through, and I live near some pretty good trails, including the Thomson factory trail.
Cheers!

Nice quiver. I am jealous of the pair of 950s

fiatjeepdriver 05-18-09 09:36 AM

thanks. i really like how the 950's rides there is another one for sale in my area that i had to show restraint and not buy. as for the on one i will finally be able to try it out in a month or so.

yellowjeep 05-18-09 02:14 PM

Man I wish there was anything like that in my area. Wichita isn't really known for its MTB scene though. Go figure.
