Nice, and welcome. Make sure to take pics of your bike on the trails you ride and come back to share them.

My car is almost the same as yours! Mind sharing what Yakima rack you got? I'm in the market for a rack as well!

I have an old Rock Shox Judy XC with them, and the stanchions still look like new because of the boots.
Exactly...you have an old Judy like I do. Back when Judy's and then SID's weighed 2.7-3.5 lbs they had them. Then they started over engineering the forks with all this big hop, big bounce, big landing, big travel and the forks got so darned heavy they took the boots off so they weren't all over 6 lbs. Have a fleet of older Judy SL's pre disc and won't ever give them up.

With some suggestions from y'all I built up this Voodoo Wanga One. I have it geared a bit too tall for me (34x16) but I'm taking it down to a 34x19 this week.

rack

Hi,
I got the Yakima with lowriders, 48" crossbars, Viper bike rack, and 38" fairing. I'll post a pic soon with my bike on it.

I'd love to see your audi too.

Thanks,

Dale

So the bike is finished... I finally got my seatpost! Sooner or later I'll get an E-13.
Thomson says the seatpost is capable of 17 degrees of tilt in either direstion...I can only get ZERO degrees!! What's up, I think I need to flip the top plate???

And here's the park bike. Eventually I'm going to get a ridable frame, the TT is sooo small.

I wouldn't want a Medusa Lite sprocket on my BMX, let alone my MTB.

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

O.K. - - I'm getting closer; but the Gran Mal is still pieces and parts. Here is the foundation anyway:

Just picked up the wheelset Monday at Transition in Ferndale, WA. Great bunch of guys; and you would not believe the modest quarters they are working out of. Amazing.

I'm letting Tim at the Butler hang the frame in the shop for a little bit just to show it off. Now I just have to get the other stuff ordered so I can start putting it together.

What? Where are the white wheels?

Whatever it's still going to look killer.

Yeah, I about croaked when I realized that the 150/12 wheelset is about the only one that does not come in white I guess I could have ordered white rims and relaced 'em or gotten hubs and white rims and built my own wheels but this just ended up being easier. Syncros wheelset was going to be nearly double the price - - had to vote the pocketbook.

I think the color will work out. Here's a cobbled-together "virtual, PhotoShop build" to give a taste:
