I'm heading to the San Francisco area in June and I want to get out to see the big trees. I've always wanted to see the trees. Are they everywhere or is there a particular area I should be heading to?

Thanks for the tip. I was going to head out of the city north after a few days and probably stick to the coast or head to wine country. I just saw that Yosemite is due east. I'll see if I can come up with an itinerary that will have me go through the park. I love seeing big mountains and big trees. I've seen mountains. I now have to see the trees.

The redwoods along the northern coast are awesome. We are going camping there again when school gets out. Its only a 2 hour drive for us.

I could be wrong, but I think the redwoods are wider, but sequoias are taller.

What do you mean by northern coast? Where is that? You'll have to tell me town names or something. I'd like to go see both tall and wide trees. I've already told my daughters about the giant trees and I really want to make sure we get out to see them.

It's still a sweet log ride, just with a little gap to jump.

I'm an Arizona boy still getting used to these trees and the wet. The only logs I find myself on are used as bridges and I'm walking, like these two from the same ride.

Nioce. Doesn't look like the log is ridable due to the railing.

The northern coast of California. The Redwood National Park. Here is a picture of our daughters in front of some smaller redwoods.
