my early '90s GT K2 Karakoram

Me and my dad bought it new for more than $700 from the Clean Machine bike shop in Carrboro, NC. I haven't ridden it in a decade.
Currently, I'm doing a bike build from frame up. So, I'm selling the early '90s blue GT K2 Karakoram to finance that project. I was going to restore it myself, but I can't afford to right now. I figured someone here could do that. I'm willing to sell the bike for $250 as a whole or part it out.
Please PM me or e-mail me at ussprinceton2004@yahoo.com if interested. Thanks

Very nice bike you got there. I just sold my trials mod, I just didn't have time for it anymore but good god they were fun.

Tire clearance is for wimps.

Now nobody can tell me a dj1 cannot fit a 3.00, there is aboot 1mm of clearance on each side. This is just because I was bored and currently don't have a mtb. But I should have a Stiffee by the end of the week.

Your KONA
Love your KONA COWAN!
I want to replace my FISHER with a KONA CINDER CONE or BLAST. However, looking around for a dealer I discovered KHS and Diamondback have bike frames that LOOK identical to the KONA frame.
Are they farmed out? Is one company building all of these frames and everyone else is putting their labels on them? If not, which is superior? If so then it all boils down to components and look doesnt it?
bye the way i did try to post a pic of my fisher KAITAI and once i figure out how to do it I will do it.
