I saw the sarcasm, then I saw right through it, and saw your insecurity about being accepted for having the right bike.

And, Pheard, after Lowcel, you're on my adoption list... after those pesky kids I already have grow up. Don't hold your breath - I hate that tactic.
Yayyyy. Now I have someone to buy me sram parts.

Thanks Ap.

Of all the things that suck on here, I can say that your riding does not.

Lowcel, Pheard - I am not actually actively SEEKING adoption possibilities... JC, I'll be 51 on Wednesday. All I'm saying is that if I WERE to adopt, there's no way I'm up for putting another kid through college - got one there, and another to go. So, Lowcel, when they're done, I'll adopt you & we can talk about spending money on bike parts & you supporting me in my old age. And if you punk out, I'll just turn to Pheard.... Pheard, not that you're a standby, you're just clear across the country, and I know where Lowcel lives.

Rule number 1 - Train girl
Rule Number 2 - avoid braces
Rule number 3 - If number does not apply, find one with experience so you don't have to train them

The way you say it, sounds like we're talking about training a dog or something.
