I think half may be exaggerated (I'd have to look at my taxes from last year but I think it was around 20-25%) but he'll be making so much money he won't care! Plus he'd be able to ride some REAL mountains!

This section of trail had my number for 8 years, I always either freaked out due to being intimidated by it or when I attempted it, I always ate dirt. I've hit and cleared way harder lines, this one i always had problems with. It's reign of terror on me ended this morning being that I cleaned that section for the first time ever. Before today I always clipped the first set of roots, thus sending me flying without the bike.

I feel like a huge gorilla was torn off my back.

You coming down or climbing up that section? Either way it does look like a handful.

Going down, I've yet to see anyone make it up that section in 8 years without falling flat on their rear. Plus I don't have the gearing to make it up that.

Always feels supreme to clean and lay to rest a nemisis.

Well, 26 west opens this weekend so that all good. The bad thing is my X crapped out on me on the way home from there last night about 30 miles away from home. I put it on the trailer this morning and I think I know what the problem is.....Fuel sending unit. So,out I go to pull it out of the tank.

I bet you that wouldn't have happened with the Element.

Naw, he probably would have had to drop the whole rear suspension to get at the tank, ripped out half the interior to get at the blind fasteners from above, bought a special spanner from the Honda dealer parts dept. to twist the sending unit out (only they're on backorder so he'd have to wait three weeks for his spanner) and then paid $400 for the unit itself - - oh, and $30 for the gasket kit that did not come with the unit.

You're just feeling guilty because you probably recommended the Xterra over the Element.

Well ok, my brakes have been for sale for freaking ages.
I'm getting desperate to get rid of these.

Some guy jusy offered me a trade of a 2006 Norco Team DH frame, e13 chain device and bashie and cranks!
I'm thinking I should take it...

Awesome pic.

What's missing on my line is the Frappuccino puddle right about the apex as I would have to reach for both brakes to not miss the turn.

Am I the only one that doesn't know how to merge pictures like that? I am pretty good on 'puters and stuff but I could never work a graphics program.
