You know it!

I strongly suggest getting there via E. Washington . . . .
|
Hey, If I get some J5s (the 07s from cambria) do they come with the brake fluid? I know I need to bleed them, but I dont know if they include the fluid. THanks
|
j5s haha! elixir is the only way; that is, for us good people.

^^^^^^^^
I thought you were still rolling around on the same POS shimano Mechs. Its only a matter of time until you have a cable falure (like me) and run into a bunch of trees and yell words that scare fishermen. |

|

What? To g-mail to debate.

Quick, possibly silly question..
Would it be fine to use brake cleaner, i.e. the one for cars which comes in aerosol cans, for my brake discs? |
yes

Just making sure there wouldn't be anything bad to come of it :) |
I've been kicking the idea around of parting out the Bullit and building up a 5" trail bike out of the parts. I have girlscouts enduro frame hanging around and I could build a nice trailbike out of it. I really don't need a 7" bike and I've been spending more time on my HT than anything else. I would really like a 3 or 4 inch bike that would take a beating and take a longish fork but the Enduro is a lot cheaper option.
|
That's why I am building the XTS Moto for a trailbike: had son's frame collecting dust. Free/cheap is always a good reason :).
BTW, build is nearly done. Will post photos early next week when it I pick it up from the shop (new cable housing and other little picky odds-n-ends). Not going to be light though - - scale said 40#. Dang. |

Lock out the shock and the fork and it's great for urban or at the BMX track. I've got a short stem and wide bar on it now and I've been using it for shuttling. I can keep up with the guys on the big bikes no problem. And with the low BB, it loves corners! |
Yeah, yeah!! I was daydreaming about a Rampant with a PIKE or a 4xWC. Killa fun, man!
|
I know that some places you need a lot of travel but not really around here. I ride different now than I did a few years ago I just don't have the urge to push my limits like I did......must be the old age kickin' in. I think I'm going start building that Enduro soon.

Yes it's true, 66 doesn't jump any more. Perhaps the time is right for a Rascal.

Last time we drove past the local battery store, two of the workers there were riding around on those with one wheel in the air. Just felt like sharing. |

Well Merryweather,I have gotten some of my jumping skills(as little as they are) back. I might consider a Rascal when I pick up my new Jitterbug.

People over 65 qualify for Medicaid and from what I gathered from the commercials you can write off part of the Rascal using Medicaid benefits. I thought you should know.
