Two months since I odered the I-9's, friday the 26th, the last 445 draft was pulled from my account and I think to myself "wow they are finally on the way". Today I call to find out they haven't shipped yet. Where is the "banging my head against the wall" smilie?

In mountain biking would you suggest using a dual suspension bike , or a front suspension bike or even one with no suspension

Curious Dan.

What kind of riding do you want to do, and how much money do you have to spend?

Going to have a pump track to go that isn't very far away in the near future.

I'm thrilled.

I don't get it??

I mean...the Tora is pretty destructable. It's a dang good trail bike fork, but nowhere near the Banshee Scirocco/ Rockshox Pike combo that they seem to be PIMP'ing this Giant as.

Octalink crankset is not terribly "bomber", etc...

Thoughts?

It's funny you mention the Scirocco, I was looking at that bike before this one caught my eye.

I just thought that the Banshee was more of a trials bike, while the Filter 1 is a bit more XC-oriented, which is what I'm after.

The Filter is not being marketed as an XC bike though. (the way I read it)

The Scirocco is just a Mountain Bike. It's good for trail riding. I dunno that it was ever designed to be a trials bike, but as versatile is it is...if small enough, would work.

Ahh yes, I see what you're saying now.

I'll also be going from flat pedals to clipless on this bike too. It's time for me to take the next step

Got a free chainsaw that didn't run. Couldn't get it to run. Sold it on CL and bought a long-awaited and much-needed 360' spin/rotate 5" bench vice!!

Nothing makes you want to ride your bike more than two weeks on a sail boat with 3 other people. Looking forward to a nice 12 miler after I watch the two Topgear's I've missed.

I got to inflict some pain today on the person who stole my pista after catching him trying to jack it again. Plus he's in custody and is being charged for the theft.
