I'm going to test ride two bikes this evening - an '09 Rockhopper Expert 29er and an '08 or '09 Cannondale F4. Excited about trying them and the possibility of getting a new ride, but also trying to figure out how to justify spending the cash on a new bike...

Bikes: Something Canadian, something Italian, something American, and something German

I had a 330 calorie 5 inch sandwich from 7-11 tonight. Turkey, ham, and cheese. How is this (330 calories) even possible?

XR was pristine...he said that I need to keep riding...but not on a SS. "Use your gears." Your patella puts 5x the pressure against the groove at the trochlea...so I'm 200lbs = 1000lbs of pressure there.

Normally, he recommends his patients exercise b/c they have weak quads causing this sort of pain. My case, he said was different. Def no damage...def keep on the bike.

so are you going to put gears on? doesn't seem like jumping down 5 stairs on a SS would be good either lol.

I'm not worried about the Flow...I think what really started all this was climbing that steep freakin' hill on the SS. That repetitve motion under a heavy load. I'm assuming the 5 stairs was a reference to the flow...though really...5 stairs is Crapper'able.
