The first question was enough. When I first joined to ask about buying my first real bike I had a budget, and the type of riding i wanted to do. After buying the bike I chose, I GOOGLED (cough cough) things i wanted to know. Went on websites like Park Tools or Sheldon Brown or MTBR reviews to check out items. I started a thread about how to replace my tube properly and safely. But that was after desperation, seeing that i tried before and didnt want to hurt my bike. Search the forum using the forum search option. Its not you asking questions, iits you not seeming to be giving any effort to find out the information yourself and trying to use us to help.

But really, thats just my view on things.

Alright. I apologize for not searching for my answers before asking stupid questions. Well now that most of my questions have been answered, I shouldn't be making any new threads for a little while.

OP-

If I was your parent and knew the kind of attitude you had ('Nazi parents', for instance), I sure as hell wouldn't be buying you a ******** bike/parts.

lol..
ok, Austin. I am a veteran at getting bashed around here, Some of it was my fault, some of it wasn't.
All I have to say is you're screwed now. You've dug a hole deeper than mine already.
Before you ask a question, make it worth answering, Give us all the info we need to help you. We have lives and bikes of our own, we cant sit around and make a parts list with prices for you. Now, go do your homework, and get good grades... to be a welder.

I think you have done too much confined-space welding . . . and without proper respiratory gear, there, Austin. I hear there's a boatload of money to be made in the Bay Area, though - - as long as it's not tied to subprime mortgages or Detroit stocks

You will be fine, nobody is perfect. Besides if you are not learning about bikes you're learning socialism. Quit worrying, gut it out, and keep asking.
