Replacement Bushing for '01 Jamis Dakar frame?
I have a 01 Jamis Dakar Expert that has suited me well. But recently it's become somewhat embarrassing to ride. It squeaks/creaks more than a rusty swing set. It seems that the bushings are just worn out. Has anyone found a company that can supply some Jamis replacement parts.
I normally go through the company themselves, but I fear that this time they might not be able to supply parts to a frame where the design is no longer under their warranty period. Which, I must say has helped me a good amount, the rear triangle has broken 3 times thus far.
I'd love to replace the frameset, but unfortunately things are looking a little grey at the workplace and I suspect that the outlook is going to be somewhat undesirable.

Try taking the bushings out and greasing them with a thick grease that will take up a little space and stick around for a while.
It may work.
Otherwise...call Jamis and ask if they have any. It couldn't hurt.

Thanks for the advice. I tried some really nasty thick grease in there. It seems the only way to eliminate the squeak is to tighten things down to the point where its beyond stiff. That won't do.
I sent em an email yesterday. Their warranty manager, Dru, has come through for me a few times. My fingers are crossed that they have some extra bushings they won't mind parting with for a reasonable price.
If not, can anyone suggest a frame? Is BMC any good? I've noticed that Jensen has had the trailfox frameset on there for a LOOOOONG time now. Either they have way too many sets or no one wants em.

I just hope I can keep my XTR front deralier.

Jamis has been great with me as far as getting parts and warranty crap.

Update: I got in touch with one of the guys at jamis through email today. While there's 4 bushings for my bike they only have 3. I ordered them, ~$30, and should have them soon. Glad they could help.

They're good at warranty'ing frames too...prob. a reason for that, hehe.
