Guess I'll join in on this... Here's a few pics of my 2005 Giant DH Team. Picked up the frame and built up the rest with parts that I already had. Unfortunately I can't get pics of my other bikes right now. One's here in pieces, the other 2 (Giant Trance X2 and Propel) are both sadly approx 2000 miles away right now

Thanks. I wanted to get a Sun Ringle MODO front wheel for the bike (the Single Track just looks out of place with the huge Stratos S8 fork) but they seem to be impossible to find these days.

Ya, but you'd be wishing for the Singletrack back every time it did a nose-dive off a jump

Cameraphone pic of my Blur TR. Just finished the initial build last week and I still have some tweaking to do. The fork is new, the rest came over from my '04 Blur classic. My gravity dropper is clunking in the mid-position and I'm debating whether to send it in, upgrade to a Reverb Stealth, or just ride the standard post.
The front end is too high but obviously you can't add material back to the steerer tube, so I had to ride it first to be sure of that before cutting further.

To be honest, I'd stick with your GD. There is something to be said for the straightforwardness of a mechanical post. I will keep using my Contact Switch post as long as I can warranty the gas spring; but then it will be on to a GD, Spec. Command Post or and RSP Plummet.

Just got this thing up and running again, well mostly up and running. I stole the seat post after breaking the one in my surly karate monkey. Still not really sure wth I'm going to do with it. I put semi-slick tires on it thinking I'd use it for gravel/rail trails but I'll probably end up sticking knobby tires back on it and hitting the trails every now and again. Was my first real mtn bike and I think by now the only original parts are the crank and rear brake.

Here's my Mongoose Ledge 2.1, getting some much needed mud and wear on the new paint. I'd have posted it in builds somewhere, but it's a cheap frame and the only mod I did was file down some spacers to add some bushings. It's "Nighthawk Black Metallic" of Honda origin, and lends to the username.

This is my long time and rather trustworth XC rig. Slowly putting lighter and better parts on it (only when i really need them). So far it has been fully built up by my own hands; as i dont like other people touching my stuff. Currently working on a 1x10 shimano drivetrain, and new brakes (looking at magura marta sl's)
