Just picked up this full suspension 29er last month. Swapped out the handlebars for a wider set, and changed the seatpost to a reverb. Rides so nice and is a blast on the trails.

Hey TheDavid! I was eyeing up a hardtail Ghost at REI. I have an "REI only" Novara already, are you happy with the construction of the Ghost?

Hey BigDB67, I am quite happy so far. Very nice bikes from Ghost and they are built well. The prices are good and the quality of kit is impressive. The hardtails are quite nice too and a riding buddy has the Kato 5. He says the handling is nice and the bike is nimble on the trails.

Bikes: Maverick ML8

This is my Maverick ML8. Its been able to handle everything I throw at it from trail to downhill. Slowly upgrading to some carbon parts such as handlebars and wheels. Wouldn't trade it in for anything else at the moment.

Mostly XTm739, ritchey logic crank, and a rock shox duke race.

As for the mrazek I'm not sure what I'll do yet.

My full stable of steeds. Before you mention it, yes I know that the seat on the AC is at some rediculous and horendous angle. I didn't notice it until after I had put the bikes away after taking the photo. The AC will be stripped down at the end of the summer and rebuilt using one of the carbon hardtail frames from Velobuild.

Ghost Tacana 3. Not too fancy but it is leaps and bounds better than my old Mongoose 26er!

Nice ride.
Are you sure that is the correct size? You shouldn't have to run a 140mm stem.

The EMD looks like an XL?

Rider has some short legs with a really long torso.

My GF has one too.

My lowly Haro Calavera 27.5er that I put Soma Fat Slicks on and ride to work most days. Easy life for a MTB

Your brake levers should be rotated down. Especially the left one.

I find the right one comfy, but yes, the left one keeps coming loose and rotating around when I change gears. For some reason the bolt is not providing enough clamp force.

Bikes: 15 Fuji Altamira 2.0

2012 trek fuel ex5 frame.
1x10 with rf narrow wide 32 and sram x9 rd and shifter saints pedals and xt hollow tech cranks.
Fox rp23 rear shock and rockshox Reba front fork.
Rockshox dropper post with wtb Silverado saddle
Deore brakes with ice tech rotors
Shimano Deore xt wheels
Raceface atlas 50mm stem and 780 bars.

The only thing stock is the frame, went from 31 pounds to 27 with pedals and dropper. Love this bike still, tried a 29er and sold it within 2 weeks, just didn't feel as playful/fun.
