I would have given Yeti serious consideration, but my local Yeti dealer didn't give me the time of day when I went there. They lost a big sale.

Built up a 93 Diamondback Ascent EX frame with a mix of late 80s and early 90s components. Just wanted to mess around on local singletrack trails this fall. 3x6 friction shifting and all.
No tough riding and what i came across was easily handled.

Im slowly building up a '93 Mongoose IBOC Comp SX frame which should be fun and hopefully fit well. Looking forward to spring!

I hate shops like that. But it is their loss, you still got a great ride.

24 lbs for a full suspension is light! Love the color scheme. How does the rigid 29er ride? Which one you spent most of your time riding?
I am still riding a 26 full suspension. 28 lbs. Always etching to get a new bike!

'89 Raleigh technium Ovation, $30, '93 Giant Boulder,$35. The Giant was basically mint with
rockshox, nothing too special but the price. Adequate for a geezer like me. It's been nearly
60 years since I used to downhill an old Monarch with a springer fork & 3" balloons. That was
more than a dozen fractures ago. I've a bit more sedate riding style these days.

Thx, CX3. It's like the 5th rebuild on this frame. I love it too much!

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

Wow, C3 and Ed in the same week -- are we all taking a FB respite?

Can't beat a good hardtail so I hear you Ed.
Ha! I do miss the days of pointless funny videos on FB so I have to find my chuckles somewhere. Hope you aren't buried too deep in snow over there D.

To stay relevant here is my rig:

Nice!
Not too buried, Craig. This was about a month ago but that's all still there plus some. I love my plow truck
