Now now tell the truth. It wasn't a drunk night, we discussed which to do over a period of days. I told you to make sure of what you wanted, because I wasnt' going to change it back since you did not have a legit reason to change it in the first place. I was being generous to let you do it in the first place.

Yes indeed. And for that, the next person who asks won't be as privileged.

DBX MT1000 15 speed.. Got this for the wife dirt cheap as a everyday rider. I'm debating on getting her another bike though and trying some off-road. I've heard DBX isn't a very well built though.. original price was $99 we paid $18 and road maybe once.

Re-routed the cabling on the NRS, as I've never been happy with the way it was done when I got it. The brake line and both shift cables went under the top tube, but all from the right-side of the headtube. So while I was doing that, I thought I might as well get matching outers.

And the rest of the collection...

Yeah, I love my SLX Shadows...

The trails weren't real messy; no streams to cross or anything.

How do you like your bike? My wife and I just got back from Fayetteville on Monday and wound up in a bike shop. I took home a Kona brochure and had a good laugh when I saw an $1800 bike called a "Stinky." After doing a bit of searching around the net, I found that these were apparently pretty awesome rigs. Since Monday I've been telling my wife, "I want a Kona Stinky. When people ask me what kind of bike I have, I wanna tell'em I have a Stinky."

Now, owning a Stinky has found its way on to my bucket list.

As I said, it's my buddy's, I'm over in the ss/fg forum. That said though, awesome parts if they come as stock, built like a TANK and weighs literally 3x my usual ride. Darn pretty is all I know, made me awnt to charge down some trails for real.
How can you go wrong with a bike called 'Stinky'?

Sounds like a tough bike, especially if it's that heavy.

the bike is a blast to ride but it's almost too much for the local trail stuff unfortunately. Lugging this thing through rock cemetery like trails is pretty lame but when you do get to point it downhill and huck it off a couple drops you almost forget about the weight you had to push to get there. Also wish it was a smaller size but oh well! RIDE IT TIL IT DIES!!!! <-- exclamation points for ya.
